Veterans who have served on active duty since 2001 are eligible to apply for mentorships, with preference given to those with service-connected disabilities. ACP also recognizes the service and sacrifice of our nation's surviving military spouses and spouses of severely wounded post-9/11 veterans, and encourages them to apply for mentorship opportunities.
ACP is a competitive program with a limited number of Protégé openings, so it is important to complete your application and articulate how an ACP mentorship will benefit you. Your application will be used to evaluate your strength as a candidate, as well as assist ACP in finding the best possible Mentor for you.
Please be sure to provide a working email and phone number, as ACP will contact you if you have been selected for a phone interview. For those paired in the program, regular communication with a Mentor and ACP staff is required throughout the yearlong mentorship. If you will not have time to participate in a mentorship in the near future, we ask that you defer your application and sign up for ACP AdvisorNet instead (www.acp-advisornet.org).
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact ACP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
